Pasternack Enterprises, Inc. (Irvine, CA), a manufacturer and supplier of RF, microwave, and millimeter wave products, unveils new wide dynamic range broadband limiting amplifiers commonly used in electronic warfare, microwave receivers, and broadband communications systems.

The new wideband limiting amplifiers are housed in hermetically-sealed packages and are designed to withstand harsh environments with operating temperatures ranging from -30 to +70 degrees C. The connectorized SMA limiting amplifiers are unconditionally stable and include built-in voltage regulation, bias sequencing, and reverse bias protection for added reliability. Over-voltage protection is installed externally for easy repair and the amplifiers are fully matched internally for 50 Ohm input and output, which eliminates the customer's need for any additional sensitive external RF tuning components.

“Our new offering of broadband limiting amplifiers helps us further answer our customers’ need for a wide variety of off-the-shelf amplifier products where extended lead times are not an option,” says Michael Rachlin, Active RF/microwave Products Manager at Pasternack. "A key element of Pasternack’s new active component strategy is to offer existing and new customers a broad range of amplifier solutions available for immediate shipment from stock.”
