NEL Frequency Controls is pleased to announce the release of the Dual Frequency Reference Module (DFRM). The new module consists of two ultra low phase noise OCXOs at 10 MHz and 100 MHz that are phase locked together to provide a fully characterized, “plug and play” solution. The DFRM provides customers both low frequency (10 MHz) and intermediary frequency (100 MHz) references in their applications to frequency lock with each other. This solution is integrated in a module with optimized phase noise performance.


Dual Frequency Reference Module (DFRM) Key Performance Features:

- Two frequency outputs—10 MHz and 100 MHz

- Ultra Low Phase Noise -115 dBc/Hz at 1 Hz offset -145 dBc/Hz at 10 Hz offset for 10 MHz -125 dBc/Hz at 10 Hz offset -180 dBc/Hz at 100KHz for 100 MHz

- Excellent temperature stability from 2 ppb peak to peak

- Low aging from 0.25 ppb/day

- Excellent short term stability AVAR < 1E-12 at 1 s
