Ansoft First Quarter Earnings Increase to $0.11 Per Share on Record Revenues
Ansoft Corporation announces financial results for its first quarter of fiscal 2006 ended July 31, 2005. Revenue for the first quarter totaled $14.8 million, an increase of 17% compared to $12.7 million reported in the previous fiscal year's first quarter. On a non-GAAP basis, net income for the first quarter was $1.4 million, or $0.11 per diluted share, representing a 392% increase when compared to net income of $0.3 million, or $0.02 per diluted share in the previous fiscal year's first quarter. On a generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) basis, net income for the first quarter was $1.2 million, or $0.09 per diluted share, compared to GAAP net income of $30,000, or $0.00 per diluted share in the previous fiscal year's first quarter.
EiC Announces Reorganization and Relocation

Ember Announces International Expansion and Achievements
Ember announces continued global expansion with the opening of new international facilities and the signing of new international customers and distributors. Ember opened a new research and business facility in Cambridge, England, to accommodate expansion of the company’s radio IC development team, as well as a business development team serving Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA). On the new customer front, Ember has announced new business with a U.S. government defense agency, valued at more than $1 million. Details of the defense application will be announced in a subsequent news release. In addition, Raymarine, the U.K.-based developer of marine electronics, is now shipping its Ember-enabled wireless autopilot system unveiled in February. Ember also announced that two major Asian distributors inches Memec (Asia-Pacific) Ltd. in China and MJL Technologies Ltd. in South Korea will distribute and market Ember’s ZigBee wireless semiconductor systems to OEM customers in that region.

Class I, Div. 2 compliance ensures that specified MaxStream radios can be safely deployed in hazardous locations where highly flammable vapors are present. This certification encompasses compliance for use in environments where gases such as acetylene, hydrogen, ethylene and propane (Groups A, B, C, D) may be present. Class I, Div. 2 certification is often required for operation in locations such as gas stations, refineries, chemical plants and pipelines.

TDK Semiconductor Announces Name Change
TDK Semiconductor Corporation announces that it has changed its name to Teridian Semiconductor Corporation. The name change is effective immediately. As previously announced on April 8, 2005 Golden Gate Capital, in partnership with the US-based semiconductor management team acquired the company from TDK-USA, a subsidiary of the Japan-based TDK Corporation.
MODULAR COMPONENTS NATIONAL PLANS NEW FACILITY Next Phase in Capital Investment to Expand Capabilities (Forest Hill, MD – August 9, 2005) – Modular Components National (MCN), headquarted in Forest Hill, Maryland has announced the purchase of an additional six-acre tract of land in Forest Hill for construction of a new manufacturing facility. MCN is currently occupying two facilities in Maryland with a total of 41,000 square feet and an additional facility of 25,000 square feet in Lowell, Massachusetts. The new building will be sized to handle the current capacity of all three plants with additional space for continued growth. Construction of this new facility is the next phase in expanding operations, with groundbreaking to be scheduled for spring 2006.
