This new (V)TCXO is tailored for microwave and wireless networking, digital data links, GPS/Navigation, and commercial SATCOM applications. The S6C Series utilizes an AT-cut quartz crystal, separately packaged and paired with an analog compensation ASIC, to achieve precise frequency stability and aging performance in the range of 10 to 30 MHz. This low-power oscillator requires 2 mA input current with 3 V supply to produce frequency stabilities over temperature as tight as ± 1 ppm (0 to +50°C) and phase noise less than 110 dBc/Hz @ 100 Hz offset ( 140 dBc/Hz @ 10 kHz offset). The S6C Series is also operable over extended temperature ranges ( 40 to +85°C), and exhibits exceptional ± 1 ppm maximum first-year aging at 40°C. The clipped-sine output (1 V peak-peak minimum) may be tuned up to ± 12 ppm minimum through an optional voltage control pin located on one of the four gold-plated true SMD pads. The hermetically sealed, leadless and Pb-free 5 × 7 × 1.8 mm ceramic package is compatible with standard reflow and washing techniques.
