California Eastern Labs now offers NEC's latest in ultraminiature GaAs MMIC SPDT switches: the UPG2008TK. Housed in NEC's newest 1.3 mm × 1.5 mm six pin, recessed lead TK package, the UPG2008TK features a footprint thatss less than half the size of conventional SOT-363-style package switches. The flat lead design of the TK also helps lower the switch's profile. At 0.55 mm, it's just over half the height of the SOT-363-style package. Designed for T/R switching, antenna diversity switching and power level control switching applications, the UPG2008TK is ideal for miniaturized portable handheld designs. Performance specifications include insertion loss of 0.40 dB typical @ 1.0 GHz, isolation of 25 dB typical @ 0.5 to 2.5 GHz, and PIN (1dB) of 25 dBm @ 1 dB compression point.
