Innovative Microdevices has recently introduce a new device IM1265 which is 8,388,608 bit fully Static NP SRAM module, organized as 1024K × 8 using CMOS, it has built in miniature lithium battery to support data retention in absence of Vcc (power supply).

IM1265 has all the normal characteristics of CMOS SRAM with important benefit of data retention up to 10 years. IM1265 has unlimited read/write cycles that can be executed and no additional support circuitry is required for interface to a microprocessor and thus can be direct replacement to existing SRAM or EEPROM's.

IM1265Y offers 5 V and 3.3 V versions with speeds of 85 ns and 100 ns, packages offered are 36 Pin DIP/SMD type. Operating temperatures of -10°C to +85°C.
