TOKO America announces the availability of their LLP1005FH thick film chip inductor with a 0402 footprint (1.0 mm × 0.5 mm) and a low profile of 0.4mm. Manufactured with a proprietary ceramic material and photolithographic process, these tight inductance tolerance chip inductors offer reliability and performance to a variety of mobile communication platforms. Designed for use in high-precision impedance matching applications for power amplifiers, low noise amplifiers, and voltage-controlled oscillators, the LLP1005FH is a highly stable chip inductor with a ± 0.2 nH inductance tolerance over the full temperature range of -55°C to +125° C and a very low +100 ppm/°C temperature coefficient. Inductance tolerance of ± 0.1 nH is also available over the inductance range 1.0 to 2.7 nH. Self-resonant frequency is controlled within ± 15%, and inductance and Q values are specified at 800 MHz as well as 100 MHz. The LLP1005FH is available in 1.0 to 10.0 nH inductance values and is packaged on tape and reel in 10,000 piece quantities.
