Ideal in high capacity MW and MMW radios up to 38 GHz, the DFS series offers models with lower phase noise (-115 dBc typical at 100 KHz in KU band operation) and guaranteed zero phase hits a key feature over the competition. Low Phase noise meets 16, 32,128 and 256 QAM requirements making the synthesizers suitable for high-speed data transmissions.
The DFS series has a tuning bandwidth up to 1000 MHz and step sizes ranging from 25 KHz to 10 MHz. DC power consumption for the synthesizers is under 4 watts and offers wide operating temperature between -35 to + 70°C.
Packaged in a 3.75 × 4.0 × 1.16 housing, the devices are also available in a low profile construction of 3.75 × 4.0 × 0.73 inch package. Additional applications include SONET/SDH Microwave fiber and wireless ATM networks and SATCOM converters.
