The XO5080 OCXO family targets those applications where the requirements can only be met with a crystal based oven-controlled oscillator (OCXO) and addresses the user requirement for lower life cycle costs.
The XO5080 family is available for frequencies between 10 and 125 MHz utilizing either AT-cut or SC-cut resonator technology. The family offers excellent frequency stability over temperature of ±.07 ppm (AT) or ± 0.02 ppm (SC), or better, over the operating temperature range 0 ° C to 70 ° C.
The family features a single +5 volt supply, strong phase noise performance, superior aging characteristics and is housed in a 1.030 3 1.160 3 0.530 true SMT reflow package (thru-hole configuration is available). Extended temperature ranges are available with modified stability performance. The XO5080 family is also available with either Sine output or HCMOS logic output.
The PTI XO5040 Double Oven Crystal Oscillator (DOCXO) provides a credible alternative to the Rubidium oscillator, as a suitably stable frequency reference for CDMA base stations. CDMA systems designers now have an alternative to master timing sources that utilize dual Rubidium oscillators and a GPS reference. Through the inclusion of the XO5040 DOCXO, as a replacement for the redundant Rubidium oscillator, a great cost reduction in the system's timing reference can be realized.
The XO5040 is available at standard frequencies of 5, 10 and 15 MHz and alternate frequencies can be custom configured to the user's specifications. The family features a single +12 volt supply, excellent F/T performance of ± 0.2 ppb (0 ° C to +70 ° C), superior aging performance of ± 0.5 ppm over 10 years and is housed in a 2.030 3 2.030 3 1.500 thru-hole package. Extended temperature ranges are available with modified stability performance.
