Coaxial Components Corporation has added the 20 GHz 3900X* termination to its' line of passive microwave components. The low VSWR of this unit allows it to be used in critical test applications, as well as for terminating subsystem interfaces such as directional couplers, and BITE ports. It is specified for a VSWR of 1.04:1 to 8 GHz, 1.08:1 to 12 GHz, and 1.15:1 to 20 GHz, and typically maintains a VSWR of=/ < 1.35:1 to 26.5 GHz.
The low internal thermal impendence of the 3900X* allows it to conservatively dissipate 1 watt average power @ 25 ° C in a package that is only 0.33 long. It operates over the temperature range of 65 ° C to 125 ° C, and derates linearly to 0 @ 125 ° C. Peak power is 250 watts. The coupling nut is stainless steel and is available either with a gold plated or passivated finish.
