Single Pole Double Throw MMIC

CEL introduces the UPG2176T5N SPDT (Single Pole Double Throw) ultra-miniature GaAs MMIC switch delivers high power handling, high isolation and low insertion loss over the 2 to 6 GHz WiMAX bands. The UPG2176T5N is also good for engineers tasked with miniaturizing their designs. Housed in NEC’s 6-pin RoHS-compliant T5N package, it’s just 1.5 mm square and only 0.37 mm high. Suitable for transmit/receive and antenna diversity switching, the UPG2176T5N features internal 50Ω unused port termination. This means that when the switch is busy in the receive mode, the idle transmit port is automatically connected to a 50Ω load instead of being left as an open circuit, which helps to improve stability.
