NewNet Communication Technologies announced its plans to evolve the WiMAX product portfolio to increase market penetration in existing segments and address additional untapped market verticals. The company also announced that the WiMAX product portfolio will form the basis of a new Telecom Infrastructure Business Unit to be led by Scott Morrison, formerly of the Nokia Siemens Networks WiMAX team.

NewNet will be showcasing and demonstrating WiMAX and its mobile payment solutions portfolio at the upcoming Mobile World Congress, to be held in Barcelona from February 27 to March 1, in Hall 8 Booth 8A169.
