The 2012 "Best in Test Product Awards" recognize innovations released between November 1, 2010 and September 30, 2011 that have made significant contributions to the test industry worldwide. Each year finalists are selected from among the nominees by Test & Measurement World's editors, after which Test & Measurement World's engineering audience are invited to vote for the category winners using an online ballot. Test & Measurement World then uses a combination of these audience votes and balloting by its editorial staff to determine the "Best in Test and Test of Time" winners.

"Being named among the nominees for the Best Optical and Network Testers category for our Mu Studio performance and security solutions highlights the need network operators and their vendors have for testing using real application traffic," said Dave Kresse, CEO at Mu Dynamics. "Only Mu Studio can quickly and accurately recreate all the applications and security threats in a unique network, enabling Mu customers to validate that their network and underlying infrastructure will perform in accordance with the service level agreements (SLAs) they have."

"Since 1991 we have honored unique, innovative new products and services that meet critical market demands, as well as outstanding industry professionals in the electronics test and measurement industry," said Patrick Mannion, director of content, Test & Measurement World. "We have reviewed many outstanding products and congratulate Mu Dynamics on their achievements."
