The Electronic Components Industry Association (ECIA ) warns that an imposter has cloned the National Electronic Distributors Association website (NEDA) to falsely offer employment to unsuspecting job seekers.

ECIA, formerly NEDA, has been contacted by numerous individuals asking if the employment offer was legitimate. On the fake site, the cloners have replaced the former association's name with “Neda Distribution Inc.” and offer a “Mail Order Service” position that involves sending and receiving letters and packages for a monthly wage of $796. Attempts to reach the would-be employers have been futile and it appears that the company is from outside the U.S.

Neither ECIA nor NEDA are offering any such employment opportunities and warns this is probably a scam to secure personal information from those seeking employment.
