Hosted by Alix Paultre, the Tinker's Toolbox is the Advantage Design Group's web-based interview show where we talk about the latest technology, components, and design issues for the electronic design engineering community.
In this episode, we talk to David Grey of Vishay Siliconix on power technology at the board level, in particular power MOSFETs and what Vishay is going in that area. Vishay Siliconix power ICs address markets ranging from mobile communications and computing to the fixed telecom infrastructure and include switchmode regulators, linear regulators, and power management devices. A number of their devices, built on specialized process flows, are purpose-made for the medical, automotive, and military markets.
