Today on Meaghan's Minute, brought to you by Memory Protection Devices, CMicrotek is developing a family of instruments for very low current/power measurements to meet the demands of today’s low-power electronic products.

“High” current devices like wireless radios and the small motors used in robotics can draw well over 100,000 times more current than the sleep state current of modern micros. This results in wide ranging current waveforms that are nearly impossible to analyze using traditional tools and methods.

The μCurrent Probe and μPower Analyzer provide the same ability to analyze instantaneous measurements as the sense resistor and oscilloscope method but with greater precision and accuracy. The μPower Analyzer also provides the ability to accurately measure power consumption over time, whether that timeframe is microseconds, minutes or days.
