  • Overdrive Robotics' smartbot is a smartphone and robot in one.
  • Start-up LIFEBeam engineers have adapted aerospace technology to create the heart rate-monitoring SMART bicycle helmet, which utilizes a sweat-resistant optical sensor mounted on the inside front of the helmet.
  • Thimble Bioelectronics is working on a patch based on Transcutaneous Electrical Nerve Stimulation or TENS that's designed to provide portable pain relief.
