Exceptional Positioning Accuracy in New GNSS-enabled PCI Express Mini Card

MEN Micro (Ambler, PA) has released the PX1, a new PCI Express Mini Card that uses a GNSS receiver to handle data transmissions from both GPS and GLONASS systems. The board, which supports both active and passive antennas via a U.FL connector, provides superior satellite-based communication worldwide. The board’s GNSS receiver, makes the PX1 ideal for fleet management applications where commercial vehicles, such as trains, buses, ships and airplanes, travel across wide geographic ranges. Features include:

  • Gyroscope sensor enables dead reckoning functionality, ensuring accurate position identification.
  • Various satellite-based augmentation systems (SBAS).
  • PX1 for increased positioning accuracy.
