Ultraview Ships 12-bit 4 GSPS / 2 GSPSx2-Channel Data Acquisition Board
Ultraview Corporation (St. Berkeley, CA) has announced an ultra-fast PCIe data acquisition board allowing uninterrupted acquisition of two concurrent 2 GSPS 12-bit A/D channels or a single channel at up to 4 GSPS. The AD12-2000x2's unique combination of proprietary low-noise, low-distortion DC-2 GHz front end, fast (40ns) trigger latency, deep 8GB on-board memory, and ability to be driven from either a fixed internal clock or an external clock (which may be rapidly-swept over the entire 300 to 2000 MSPS range for applications such as OCT), enables new capabilities in communications spectroscopy, SIGINT, surveillance, missile testing, RADAR and other defense, scientific, and medical applications. Features include:
- Low latency rapidly-retriggerable acquisition.
- TTL inputs concurrent with sampling, for precise time correlation of analog and digital events.
- Wide-range external clock (accepts rapidly-swept OCT clocks) and fixed internal clock with programmable divide (decimation).
- Rapid development and OEM-customization using easily modifiable, Linux/Windows cross-platform C-Software/VHDL-Firmware packages.
