RTD Probe Assemblies with Built-in Programmable Microprocessor Based Transmitters
An innovative new line of compact RTD assemblies with built-in programmable microprocessor based transmitters is now available from Tel-Tru Manufacturing Company, a premier supplier of temperature and pressure instrumentation.
Based on patented technology, the Tel-Tru sensors are designed to maximize accuracy and durability. The fully integrated transmitters eliminate the chance of wiring disconnections between the transmitter and sensor, and increase the reliability over traditional RTDs that use transmitters with connection head housings.
The standard assembly integrates a proven thin film PT100 platinum RTD sensing element with the transmitter electronics, packaging them both in an all welded 316L stainless steel probe and housing assembly. Probes are available in .187” and .250” diameters with a choice of lengths ranging up to 12”. Overall range capability is –103 to 392°F, and ranges can be scaled in the field or at the factory to all common requirements. Custom ranges are also available.
Industrial type assemblies include threaded process connections and may be used with a separately purchased thermowell. Sanitary probe configurations featuring Tri-Clover fittings and surface finishes that comply with 3A Standard 74-03 for food, dairy, beverage, pharmaceutical and chemical processing applications are also available.
Proofed against vibration, shock, and moisture, Tel-Tru compact RTDs with transmitters are ideal for the demanding applications common to food and pharmaceutical processing, refineries, chemical plants, water and wastewater facilities, breweries, dairies, HVAC, and the OEMs serving them.
