Aeroflex and EF Johnson Technologies Announce Test Set of ES Series Radios

Test system provides EFJohnson dealers and end users with unique competitive advantage

Aeroflex - 3920Aeroflex has announced a collaboration with EF Johnson Technologies, Inc. to provide automated test and alignment capabilities for EFJohnson P25 radios on the Aeroflex 3920 Digital Radio Test Set. Initial test capabilities will be focused on the 5100ES and 5300ES Series APCO Project 25 conventional radios.

The Aeroflex Automated Test and Alignment procedure provides fully automated test and alignment of EFJohnson radios without the need for user interaction. This test system ensures consistent and reliable tests and alignment to manufacturer-recommended specifications and to industry standards, ensuring proper interoperability and a uniform standard of performance within the radio’s network technology.

“This will be a very important tool for our dealers and end users. The automation will provide fast and consistent results in the field,” said Randy O’Connor, Manager of Technical Operations, EF Johnson Technologies.

Availability
The EFJohnson Auto-Test II Option is now available. The Aeroflex 3920 has a delivery time of eight weeks upon receipt of order.
