Jorjin Technologies Inc. announces the launch of three wireless modules based on Texas Instruments WiLink™ IC solutions. The WG7350 3-in-1 module integrates dual band (2.4 & 5 GHz) WLAN, Bluetooth, and an FM radio transceiver in a 11.6mm x 9.6mm x 1.4mm SiP module. The WG7500/7550 4-in-1 module, based on Texas Instruments WL1281/1283, contains dual band WLAN, Bluetooth, FM transceiver and a class leading GPS receiver. The WG7500 is packaged in an 11mm x 8.8mm x 1.8mm 96-pin LGA package and the WG7550 is packaged in a 12.3mm x 10.2mm x 1.4mm 106-pin LGA.

Jorjin SiP modules provide a ready-to-go wireless solution covering both hardware and driver software. These TI based modules support Bluetooth 4.0 low energy, ANT/ANT+, WiFi Direct™ and Soft AP mode capabilities and incorporate technology to reduce interference and enable antenna sharing, as well as a switched mode power supply for direct battery connection.

Jorjin supplies drivers for Linux, Windows, Windows CE, Symbian and Android operating systems for the major mobile computing platforms. The company also offers design-in support covering antenna design, plastic mould tooling and product assembly.

Samples and evaluation boards of both modules are available now, with volume production from April 2011. Contact for further information.
