L-com, Inc. announced that it has added two new USB 2.0 product families to its product offering. The first is a USB type A to USB micro B series of cable assembly, and the second is a black version of the company's best selling CSMUAB-xM cables.

The USB micro B-type connectors are gaining popularity because of their small form-factor. Common applications for this connector include cell phones and PDA's.  The new black USB cables, CAUBLKAB-xM, feature USB 2.0 compliant speeds of up to 480 Mbps and 20 AWG power conductors for maximum power transfer from host to peripheral.
