SAN RAMON, Calif.-- One of the highlights at the EnOcean Alliance booth during Lightfair 2010 will be the integratable Dolphin platform. This new system architecture enables the use of not only self-powered but also bidirectional wireless sensors and actuators that can transmit as well as receive information, resulting in more convenience, safety and flexibility in buildings.

EnOcean's self-powered wireless technology assures interoperability between all available products. The technology allows solutions from different EnOcean Alliance member companies to communicate with one another and to work together in one and the same complex building automation system. Lighting systems based on battery-less wireless technology are ideal for use in both residential property and commercial buildings.

The right luminaires and intelligent lighting control not only enhance personal comfort, but result in significantly lower power consumption. Additionally, battery-less wireless technology sets new standards in planning and room configuration by eliminating the need to re-route or add new cabling for future retrofits. Moreover, EnOcean-enabled devices can be placed wherever most convenient by virtue of their ability to be quickly and easily removed and relocated.
