Mill-Max’s Series 917 TO-5 and TO-100 transistor sockets have precision-machined, brass alloy receptacles assembled with a Mill-Max, 4-finger #30 contact inside each socket. The #30 contact exhibits a pin diameter acceptance range from 0.015” to 0.025” and a current rating of 3 A per position. The products offer 3, 4, 8 or 10 positions. The through-hole and SMT devices utilize high-temperature thermoplastic suitable for wave soldering and reflow soldering. Two 8-pin versions include pin centers on 0.200” and 0.230” diameter circles.
