California Eastern Laboratories introduces NEC's UPG2156TB SPDT GaAs RFIC switch for GSM and short range wireless applications whose circuits face a shortage of control lines. The device requires only a single control line to switch RF power between ports over a frequency range from 0.8 to 2.5 GHz. At 2.6 V, the unit exhibits typ. insertion loss of 0.40 dB at 1 GHz and 0.45 dB at 2 GHz, PIN (0.1 dB) of 37 dBm, and 2f0/3f0 harmonics of -75/-75 dBc at 35-dBm PIN (1 GHz) and -70/-75 dBc at 33-dBm PIN (2 GHz). The component comes in NEC's SOT-363/SC-70 equivalent TB package.
