Microwave Amplifiers Use RF Technology

Cree’s CMPA0060005 and CMPA2560025 GaN monolithic microwave IC (MMIC) amplifiers use RF technology to form fully-?integrated amplifier circuits that replicate on a single silicon carbide (SiC) substrate. The wideband-distributed CMPA0060005 operates from DC to 6 GHz and provides up to 5 W CW RF output power and an operating voltage range from 28 to 48 V. The broadband reactivity-matched CMPA2560025 operates from 2.5 to 6 GHz and provides up to 25 W CW RF output power and an operating voltage of 28 V. The devices come with standard full-wafer (SFW) MMIC foundry service, which includes shared multi-project (SMP) “pizza mask” foundry.
