Powerful Tool Supports Successful Deployment of Next-Generation Mobile Phone Systems

Anritsu Company has released three software packages for its MS269xA Signal Analyzer Series that create a powerful tool to support fast and easy evaluation of 3GPP LTE uplink and downlink signals. Taking full advantage of the MS269xA Series’ total level and modulation accuracy over the bandwidth from 50 Hz to 6 GHz, the MX269020A LTE Downlink Measurement Software, MX269021A LTE Uplink Measurement Software, and MX269908A LTE IQproducer help ensure compliance of LTE devices. The MX269020A and MX269021A software measure the transmit characteristics of 3GPP LTE Frequency Division Duplex (FDD)-compliant signals. Both software packages are designed with special features, such as a sliding Fast Fourier Transform (FFT) analysis window to provide measurement flexibility and a user-defined reference signal. 3GPP LTE compliant waveform pattern files can be generated by the MX269908A. The patterns can then be output as RF signals from the MS269xA’s optional signal generator to test RF receiver characteristics, as well as to perform transmitter and receiver evaluations. User-defined reference signals can be created and incorporated into the waveform files for transmission, as well as loaded into the MS269xA Series for quick and accurate analysis.
