CSR announced that is has shipped its billionth Bluetooth chip. CSR’s BlueCore silicon is found in every single tier one mobile handset maker and its silicon is in market leading products from customers such as Apple, Dell, NEC, Panasonic, Sony, TomTom and Toshiba. CSR’s Bluetooth silicon is designed into approximately 60% of all Bluetooth qualified products.
The success of CSR’s market leading BlueCore silicon is due to the fact that the company offers advanced Bluetooth technology in terms of size, radio performance and power consumption and is the most highly developed robust and reliable solution available in the market.
