Wide Bandwidth of 10 to 45 GHz Low Insertion Loss Desirable phase and amplitude balance
Narda, an L-3 Communications company, introduces the 4428C-2 two-way RF power divider that combines an extremely wide bandwidth of 10 to 45 GHz with low insertion loss and excellent phase and amplitude balance. The rugged power dividers are an appropriate choice for a wide array of millimeter-wave applications, including electronic warfare, electronic countermeasures, radar, microwave communications, and broadband test equipment. The 4428C-2 has minimum insertion loss from 1.9 dB at 45 GHz to 0.6 dB at 10 GHz, and isolation ranging from 13 dB at 45 GHz to 20 dB at 10 GHz. Amplitude balance at 45 GHz is 0.8 dB and 0.3 dB at 10 GHz. Phase balance ranges from 12 deg. at 45 GHz to 5 deg. at 10 GHz. The 4428C-2 power divider employs 2.9 mm connectors, weighs 20 g, and measures 2.0 inches× 0.74 inches× 0.42.
