Low Power Crystal Oscillator

EM Microelectronic introduces its EM7604, an advanced low-power CMOS circuit intended for use with a 32.768 kHz tuning fork crystal as a low frequency clock oscillator. Except for the crystal, no other external components are required. In order to achieve a high frequency accuracy, the matched crystals should have a 䔸 ppm tolerance or tighter. Very low power consumption is guaranteed over wide supply voltage and temperature ranges. Offered in an SOT23-6 package, the oscillator is a completely lead free product. Applications are in mobile phones, portable field communication, timekeeping in network servers and computers, clock drivers for real time clocks and general purpose clock generators for digital systems.
