Bluetooth Reference Design

Royal Philips Electronics introduces a Bluetooth 1.2 Stereo headset reference design. This Bluetooth stereo solution provides stereo and voice support in a single device. The solution employs the Philips’ Lifevibes™ Voice and LifeVibes™ Music enhancements. The Bluetooth 1.2 Stereo reference design (OM6777) offers a plug-and-play solution based on a stereo codec for audio streaming applications. The Bluetooth stereo reference design incorporates the Nexperia PNX0101 multimedia processor, a Bluetooth stack, Audio/Video protocols, audio decoding and clock synchronization. It offers both a stereo line-out and mono line-in and delivers point to multipoint connectivity and CD quality audio. It has a flat frequency response from 20 Hz to 20 kHz, less than – 60 dB Total Harmonic Distortion and the ability to decode MP3, AAC and SBC streams. The solution can be operated with a single cell 1.5 V AA with integrated power management. It has an integrated audio amplifier.
