Phoenix Contact's wireless I/O for industrial applications enables monitoring and control at low point count remote sites while eliminating the need for a PLC where local logic is not required. The data radios move RS-232, Rs-422, and RS-485 for serial data from any PLC or controller with MODBUS and Allen-Bradley DF1 protocols, and allow users to read and write analog and digital I/O from remote locations. The RAD-DATA-BUS system is compatible with the company's expandable wireless I/O module combinations and other DIN-rail mount serial data radios. Each transceiver is a master, slave, and store-and-forward repeater slave all in one.
