CEL announces a 10 G APD detector module from NEC. The NR4271MU-CC is a large gain-bandwidth superlattice APD designed for use as a receiver in DWDM long-haul and metro systems and 300-pin SFF transponders. Housed in an MSA-supported 17-pin butterfly package, the product features AC-coupled differential output and an integrated 3.3 V low-noise GaAs TIA. Key specifications include: sensitivity of 㪴 dBm at 10-12 BER (typical), bandwidth of 8 GHz (typical), transimpedance gain of >60 dB (typical), and a 9.8 × 7.5 × 4.0 mm 17-pin butterfly package.
