Wed, 01/14/2004 - 6:04am
Andrew Corporation announces the expansion of the Andrew Institute's® Fundamentals of VSWR training course to include practical demonstrations of RF line-sweeping using Anritsu Company's industry-leading Site Master™ cable and antenna analyzers. Site Master is widely used by wireless network professionals to quickly and accurately evaluate the health and status of installed transmission lines and antenna systems, as well as expedites the benchmarking of new cell site installations during commissioning.

The Andrew Institute's VSWR Fundamentals training course covers subjects such as configuring a typical wireless site, how to improve system effectiveness by interpreting RF plots and line-sweeps, and preventing system downtime by applying tried and tested troubleshooting techniques for wireless sites.

Andrew Institute Training Courses are delivered at purpose-built training centers around the world. The company has locations in Brazil, China, France, Scotland, South Africa, and the USA. Selected courses, including Fundamentals of VSWR with the Site Master training module, can also be delivered at customer facilities.

Anyone working with a wireless communications system, including installers, project managers and field engineers, will benefit from Andrew Institute Technical Training. Courses are delivered by technically skilled, Andrew-certified instructors with years of hands-on experience in installing, testing, and maintaining RF cable feedline and antenna systems in the field. All Andrew instructors are certified by Anritsu to train on Anritsu products.
