Eurotherm, Action Instruments group announces the WV Series model WV448, bridge or strain gauge input, isolating signal conditioner with TouchCAL™ technology. This high density, field configurable, DIN rail mount device accepts bridge/strain gauge input and provides a proportional, selectable DC output. Model WV448 is powered by a 9 to 30 V DC and is field configurable via DIP switches for bridge/strain gauge inputs from ± 5 mV to ± 200 mV. The excitation voltage range is 1 to 10 VDC @ 120 mA. The outputs can be field configured for DC signal ranges of: 0 - 10 V, 0 - 20 mA, or 4 - 20 mA. All of these ranges have zero and span adjustability of up to 95% of range via pushbutton. TouchCAL technology replaces the mechanical and thermal variability of potentiometers with the electronic stability of a microprocessor.
