OhmCraft introduces high voltage pulse withstanding resistors. A 100 kΩ 2512 chip resistor absorbs 2.0 Joules with a 6 kV peak pulse. These HPC series resistors are Fine Film( surface mount devices that are ideal for defibrillators, pace makers, power supplies, and other applications where high voltage pulse protection is essential. Standard and custom chip sizes 0805 to 2512 are available with continuous power ratings from 0.2 W to 2.0 W at 70(°C. Resistance values range from 100 Ω with tolerances as low as 0.5% and TCRs to 50 ppm/°C. Operating temperatures range from – 55°C to 125°C.
