THOR-Series Phase-Locked Frequency Synthesizers are low-cost miniature replacements for phase-locked dielectric resonator oscillators. The unit measuring 2.5 × 1.1 × 0.3 inches. At an output frequency of 13 GHz, and using an external frequency reference of 10 MHz, the THOR-13000 features phase noise of less than 90 dBc/Hz at 10 kHz offset. At +5 VDC, current is 180 mA maximum, total power consumption is less than 1 watt. Frequency coverage is 200 MHz to 15 GHz, fixed or serially-programmable in bands. Supplied with internal regulators and buffer amplifiers, THOR-Series Phase-Locked Frequency Synthesizers are supplied in shielded aluminum housings with removable SMA connectors, and are designed to be surface-mounted onto printed circuit boards.
