The 2003 GHz Interconnect Workshop is sponsored by Rogers Corporation and Merix Corporation. Rogers Advanced Circuit Materials Division in Chandler, AZ, has sponsored the Workshop since its inception. It is the world’s leading supplier of high frequency laminates for RF and microwave applications. Merix Corporation, located in Forest Grove, OR, has sponsored the Wireless Workshop since 1995. It specializes in producing complex, high-density circuits that incorporate the latest manufacturing and product technology.
Background: Established in 1988 by Rogers Corporation, the GHZ Interconnect Workshop was originally called the Microwave Hybrid Circuits Conference, and then in 1994 its name and focus changed to the Wireless Workshop. Last year, the name was again changed to reflect the convergence of the two disciplines of high speed digital and RF/Microwave for wireless communications. The GHz Interconnect Workshop provides a forum for leaders in the Wireless and High Frequency Digital industries to exchange technical information, discuss challenges, and develop solutions for the design, material, fabrication, assembly, and testing of circuits for use in high volume applications of high frequency electronic systems.
