Microlab/FXR announces a DC Block with 7-16 mm DIN connectors. it features 250 W power capability and low loss (< 0.08 dB) over the wireless and WLAN frequency bands, 800 - 2,700 MHz. The HR-D36 DC Block is used to prevent the flow of direct current and low frequency current surges along the inner conductor of a transmission line, while permitting the unimpeded flow of RF signals. The unit consists of a length of coaxial line with a distributed series capacitor in the center conductor, which blocks the flow of low frequencies, while passes RF with negligible loss or reflections. This distributed DC block has a high voltage tolerance of 3 kV.
