PExprt helps to optimize and speed the design of transformers and inductors, and magnetic components. It integrates design solution, analysis, and simulation. Design generation is based on user input of sinusoidal and square voltage waveforms, or converter specifications. The series of results can be sorted in terms of loss, temperature rise, and other design parameters. The interface provides easy entry of design specifications. An automated finite-element analysis (FEA) is included for electromagnetic and electric field calculations.
