Celerity Systems, a division of L-3 Communications, introduced their new CS20310C Wireless LAN/Bluetooth Test Station. Featuring 100 MHz of real-time bandwidth and 4 GB of memory, the CS20310C can capture, analyze, and playback up to eight seconds (or 12,800 hops) of signals anywhere within 2.4 GHz ISM band to reproduce actual operating environments in the lab. The system's 300 MS/s ADC captures all signals in real-time to preserve complete time, frequency, modulation, and transient information while delivering 55 dB SFDR. Simultaneous signal creation and full-band signal capture/analysis capability is available with the addition of the optional independent signal generator.
The CS20310C Wireless LAN/Bluetooth Test Station utilizes the Windows NT OS, high-speed Pentium processor, GPIB, and 10/100 baseT Ethernet to deliver an open workstation environment. The system can be operated manually, automatically, remotely, or networked, and it is easily upgraded for wider bandwidths, additional memory, and other frequency bands. The test station can be custom configured to match the needs of wireless design, production, and certification applications.
