MicroTransformer with Mu-Metal Shielding

Mon, 02/04/2002 - 3:31am
With a solid history of high reliability, even in harsh military environments, Datatronics now offers the 4216 microtransformer series. The 4216 incorporates Mu-Metal shielding for advanced performance.

Featuring a PRI:SEC turns ratio of 1:1 to 5.99:1, a frequency response of -2 dB (400 Hz to 250 KHz) and a maximum distortion of only 5%, the robust 4216 is an ideal choice for military output, interstage, isolation and driver applications.

Weighing less than 2 grams, the tiny microtransformer packs a feature-rich design into a rugged package. Engineered for harsh military environments, the 4216 series operates effectively in blistering environments that may reach a peak temperature of 130°C. Equally effective in high-humidity applications, the microtransformers resist up to 98% relative humidity.

Designed for endurance, the 4216 series has a life expectancy of more than 10,000 hours. The series is also vibration, shock and flame tolerant. Miniature in size for efficient use of limited circuit board space, the microtransformer series has a maximum above-board height of only 0.355 inches while the pins measure 0.115 inches minimum in length.
