Single-Supply ADC Buffer Amplifiers

Maxim Integrated Products introduces the MAX4434--MAX4437 single-supply, ultra-low distortion, fast-settling, 180 MHz operational amplifiers in a 5-pin SOT23 package. Featuring low -98 dBc SFDR (at 1 MHz), fast 35ns 0.0015% settling time, and high 116 dB open-loop gain, these op amps are ideal for buffering today's high-speed, high-performance 14- and 16-bit ADCs in precision instrumentation and industrial applications.

These amplifiers operate from a single +2.7 V to +5.5 V supply. They have Rail-to-Rail (registered trademark) outputs and ground-sensing inputs that facilitate driving single-supply 14- and 16-bit ADCs. The MAX4434/MAX4436 single/dual amplifiers are unity-gain stable and have a 28 MHz large-signal bandwidth and a 113 V/microseconds slew rate. They exhibit ultra-low 2.2 nV/ the square root of the Hz input noise-voltage density at 100 kHz. The MAX4435/MAX4437 single/dual amplifiers are compensated for closed-loop gains of +5 V/V or greater and have a 26 MHz -3 dB bandwidth and a 388V/microseconds slew rate.

The MAX4434/MAX4435 single amplifiers are offered in space-saving 5-pin SOT23 and 8-pin SO packages. The MAX4436/MAX4437 dual amplifiers are offered in 8-pin microMAX and SO packages.
