High Current Jumper

Mon, 12/10/2001 - 3:33am
Offering power supply designers a low-profile surface mount alternative to bulky through-hole designs, the TT electronics IRC Advanced Film Division recently developed a jumper with extremely low resistance ideally suited for high-current applications. These jumper resistors feature inductance ratings less than 0.2nH and are ideally suited for crossovers in high current applications up to 35 amps.

Constructed of copper on alumina, the IRC jumper resistor is available in 1206, 2010 and 2512 chip sizes and is compatible with high speed surface mount placement equipment.

With inductance less than 0.2 nH and current withstanding capabilities up to 35 amps (depending on size), this ultra low resistance jumper is ideal for use in power supply circuits and DC-DC converters.
