Handbook for Data Acquisition and Control

Tue, 10/30/2001 - 7:25am
Keithley has announced the availability of its new Data Acquisition and Control Handbook. The Data Acquisition and Control Handbook is a reference for engineers, scientists, educators, and industrial users involved with building, integrating, and programming PC-based test systems, boards, and stand alone instruments. It offers many practical suggestions and illustrations.

The handbook also includes examples of data acquisition systems taken from real-world, customer based applications, with explanations of why given hardware and software solutions were chosen.

The Keithley Data Acquisition and Control Handbook is the third in a series of three handbooks covering different facets of measurement technology. Keithley's Low-Level Measurements Handbook, now in its fifth edition, is a source on instrumentation and techniques for the measurement of sub-microvolt signals. A newly revised fourth edition of Keithley's Switching Handbook, outlining the design and assembly of high performance switching systems using mainframes, scanners, matrices, and multiplexers, was recently introduced.
