Racal Instruments announces the introduction of the new 1260-152HV (50Ω) and 1260-172HV (75Ω) High-Voltage Coaxial Plug-In Switch Cars., Racal's latest additions to its Adapt-a-Switch Racal Instruments' Models 1260-152HV and 1260-172HV are ideal for measuring transient voltages or for applications that require both high-frequency and high-voltage switching. Both are capable of switching up to 500 V while providing a -3 dB bandwidth of 700 MHz. Comprised of 20 discrete 1 × 1 Single-Pole Single-Throw (SPST) relays and 2 discrete 1 × 2 Single-Pole Double-Throw All relays on the 1260-152HV/172HV are electromechanical, enabling interchangeable inputs/outputs to meet test requirements. This solves the mixed-signal test dilemma of exclusive frequency and high-voltage measurements. Racal Instruments uniquely designed the 1260-152HV and 1260-172HV to switch high-voltage transients, making them measurable in a test.

As part of Racal's Adapt-a-Switch line, the 1260-152HV and 1260-172HV include drivers for LabWindows/CVI and LabVIEW for VXI applications. They are programmable via GPIB commands when used with Racal's 1256 Switching System. They also include VXIplug&play compliant support for Windows 95/98/NT/2000 platforms. Racal Instruments actively supports the 1260-152HV and 1260-172HV, as well as all of its ATE systems, with a globally integrated field service network.
