Well suited for use in compact end products, the TCST1210 features a package height of just 10 mm and a 2.54 mm lead pitch. As a transmissive sensor, the device is further optimized for application in streamlined products through the direct face-to-face positioning of an infrared emitter and phototransistor detector on the same optical axis.
The TCST1210 provides a 950 nm operating wavelength, with a 0.4 mm resolution and a typical current transfer ratio of 10%. Protection against ambient light is secured through a polycarbonate and an additional daylight filter designed specifically to reduce light interference.
