Input Process Indicator

Mon, 08/20/2001 - 5:11am
The DIS475B-R process indicator monitors frequencies in the range 12 Hz to 50 kHz and provides a 3 1/2 digit display that can be calibrated over a wide range to allow display of the process in engineering units. The indicator accepts input levels from 150 mV to 160 V p-p and also provides a pull-up resistor for open collector transistor inputs.

A quartz crystal reference is used for frequency measurement and provides excellent stability.

115 VAC and 24 VDC powered versions are available. The display has 0.56 inches high red LED indicators.

The product mounts through the front panel in a 1/8 DIN cutout. It has an oversize bezel flange that allows mounting in less precise holes. When properly mounted, the front of the display meets the requirements of NEMA-4 for being liquid tight. This characteristic makes the display ideal for wet and washdown areas in plants.

All operating controls for the display are available from the front of the display. The display is wide ranging and can be adjusted to indicate from 100 to 1999 counts for full scale. The display can be offset ± 100% so indications such as -1999 to 0 can be achieved. The unit also has selectable decimal points and normal or reverse indication of the display.
