These ferrites are available with current ratings up to 6 Amps, in EIA/EIAJ sizes from 0402 through 1812 with impedance values that range from 5 Ohms to 2000 Ohms at 100 MHz. The operational temperature range is -55°C to 125°C. The ferrite design includes a nickel barrier with solder overplate that provides excellent solderability for flow or reflow soldering operations. The parts are supplied on tape and reel packaging for automated placement.

Spectrum Control introduces the newest addition to its SPECWAVE line of wireless components. Spectrum's ferrite chip beads (FCB) and ferrite power beads (FPB) offer design flexibility through standard EIA/EIAJ sizes in a wide array of electrical values for EMI attenuation applications. These ferrite chip and power beads provide EMI attenuation while eliminating the need for grounding, and the multilayer construction provides a closed magnetic circuit for high reliability.
